Food loss is a pressing challenge for supermarkets. Food costs are rising and more and more people can’t afford to buy groceries as they used to, even in the Netherlands.
Foodcounts is a startup whose goal is to reduce food loss and help families who need it the most; they offer a solution for affiliated supermarkets and households to combat food waste and easily save a few hundred euros annually.
PAQT was asked to create a new design identity and an easy-to-use consumer app that helps people find and purchase affordable groceries.
